STUDIO MAX 4 EXPORT UTILITY |

The
3d Studio Max 4 export utility is now available. This
exporter plug-in is for use with 3D Studio Max version
4. Separate packages are available for versions of 3D
Studio Max prior to version 4. (all are available on
our downloads page)
We are releasing the P3D Max Plugin and POFGen utility
as an unsupported release.
These are utilities used by the artists and designers
at Outrage to create the models and rooms for Descent
3.

SERVICE
NOTICE
OUTRAGE.COM, DESCENT3.COM, RUBUTRIBE.COM, and THE
OUTRAGE WEBBOARDS are now available. These sites
have been unavailable since November 25/2001. The outage
was caused by our recent switch of Internet service
providers. Unfortunately there was a gap in our connection
to the Internet due to unforeseen technical circumstance.
(Thanks to Josh at UUNET for his assistance in restoring
our connection)
We're glad to be back and Outrage Entertainment would
like to apologize for any inconvenience this service
outage may have caused.

They have just completed a site revision and things
are looking good!
If you've never been there before I highly recommend
taking a look. There is a ton of stuff for fans of the
Descent series.

[NuB]. Previously hosted by D3community.com, the
switch to planetdescent.com has been a great success
with more users than ever before.
60+ pages of information about Descent 3 online;
netcode, ping & loss, weapons, strategies, ships,
demos, taunts, bugs, tactics, optimizing and more
... D3 HELP is an invaluable resource for almost
any pilot wishing to know more about the multiplayer
game.

Its going to be held Friday, Saturday & Sunday, August
10th, 11th & 12th, 2001 in Clearwater Beach, Florida.

chance to get your pilot picture into D3. - MAY 31,
2001 |
The Descent 3 pilot pics continue to pour in as the
deadline for submissions approaches! Buncha new pics
received yesterday, making the total amount just under
440!! Check out the In
Your Face... AGAIN page for all the new pics. Because
of the very strong response, they're going to extend
a one week grace period on the deadline. This will also
give some extra time for stragglers to get their pics
in.

chance to get your pilot picture into D3. - MAY
31, 2001 |
Just prior to the release of the Descent 3, Interplay
collected pilot pics to be included in the CD, that
could be displayed in the game. Only problem with
that, was that many people playing now missed out
on that limited opportunity to have their pic included.
Now thanks to the Wildcards Empire (through ZappaFan)
in conjunction with The Descent-Network (Heiko Herrmann)
its once again possible to have your pilot picture
included.
